Busy Atlantic City Bridge To Be Closed Overnight Next Week
A busy bridge in Atlantic City will be periodically closed overnight next week as part of a major construction project. Crews for the state Department of Transportation (NJDOT) will work on the Route 30 drawbridge over Beach Thorofare from Monday, Feb. 26 to Friday, Mar. 1, the Atlantic City Police Department said. A Trenton, NJ man has died after losing control of his Dodge Durango on Interstate 95 in Delaware County Sunday morning, Feb. 11, according to state police. Troopers said the unnamed 32-year-old was southbound and passing another driver near mile marker 0.8 in Upper Chichester when he crashed into a ditch around 7 a.m. The driver was thrown some 50 feet from his Durango, which came to rest on its roof, police said.
