‘Record-Breaking’ Fourth Show Added For Comedian Matt Rife's Connecticut Leg Of World Tour
Tickets to see comedian Matt Rife on his first ever world tour are in such demand that a Connecticut venue is adding more shows to its lineup.
In a Facebook post Thursday, June 8, Mohegan Sun Area, located in Uncasville in New London County, announced it was adding a “record-breaking FOURTH show” for Rife’s “ProbleMATTic World Tour.”
The 27-year-old comic, who has amassed nearly 18 million followers on TikTok and Instagram, is now set to perform in Connecticut from Thursday, Feb. 22 through Sunday, Feb. 25, 2024.

Casting Call: Youngsters Needed For Netflix Movie Filming In Tristate Area
Netflix is looking for two young boys to star in their next feature film, which is shooting right here in the tristate area, according to a casting notice at Backstage.
The first role is for Mookie, an 11-year-old. Mookie is described as being white, very overweight and on a strict diet who gets bullied, according to the casting notice.
"Privately his sense of humor can make you laugh, but his vulnerability will make you cry," the notice reads.
Mookie is not athletic, but loves sports, and being a fan of baseball is a "plus," according to the notice.

CT Homeless Shelter Deputy Director Killed In Crash Remembered As 'Selfless'
A popular, fun-loving, and what many called "selfless" person was one of two people killed in a crash on a Connecticut highway.
Tolland County resident, Bryan Flint Sr., age 64, of Ellington, was deputy director of the Cornerstone Foundation in the Rockville section of Vernon, died in the crash on I-95 on Sunday, May 7, which also injured his two grandchildren.
