A man who was shot dead by a police officer inside a Central Pennsylvania nursing home has been identified and details leading up to his death have been released by the York County Coroner's and District Attorney Dave Sunday's offices on Friday afternoon. New Haven County resident Elizabeth Jacques of Milford was last seen around 8 a.m., Thursday, May 2, in the area of Gulf Street and New Haven Avenue. Two teenagers were taken into custody after driving a stolen vehicle in Connecticut and fleeing a traffic stop, police said. A Connecticut man is accused of attempting to strangle a woman during a domestic incident with a baby nearby. New Haven County resident Edgar Alamo, age 23, of Meriden, was arrested on the charges on Sunday, April 28 in Milford. A small-engine plane that crashed, killing the pilot, was headed for Connecticut. The plane crashed around 7:10 a.m., Thursday, May 2, near Daniel Village, Georgia, and was headed for New Haven, the Richmond County Sheriff's Office in Augusta, Georgia.
