Fredericksburg Driver Killed By Train In Spotsy Had Disregarded Railroad Crossing Arms: Police A 55-year-old Fredericksburg man was killed in a collision involving an Amtrak train in Spotsylvania County. Aaron L. Krebs was heading east on Mine Road in a 2013 Chevrolet Impala when he disregarded railroad crossing arms, which were down for an approaching train around 12:30 p.m. Thursday, April 18, Virginia State Police said. Krebs attempted to cross the railroad tracks at Benchmark Road and was struck by a southbound Amtrak train, which remained at the scene. Multi-Vehicle Crash Reported On I-81 In East Pennsboro (Developing) Major delays were being reported along I-81 in Dauphin County Friday afternoon, April 19. PennDOT says a multi-vehicle crash had the northbound side of the highway backed up half-a-mile north of Exit 65 to US 11/15 in East Pennsboro. Traffic cameras show serious delays.

Mom Believed Killed By BF In Lorton Was Texting Relatives Right Up Until Deadly Shooting She was spunky. She was fun. She was a friend to all. This is how Alison Kate LaPorta is being remembered. The 38-year-old mother was killed by her boyfriend, 47-year-old Huy Tien Nguyen, on Wednesday, April 17 in Lorton, as previously reported by Daily Voice. Multi-Car Crash Causes 7-Mile Backup On I-95 In Stafford A multi-vehicle crash caused heavy delays along I-95 in northern Virginia on Friday morning, April 19. The VDOT site says the northbound crash happened near milepost 147.5 in Stafford, right behind the Stafford/Quantico Courtyard Marriott. Virginia State Police said it was a three-car crash with no injuries. Traffic backups were approximately 7 miles as of 1 p.m.

Motorcyclist Killed In Southampton Crash With State Trooper Was 'Sublimely Talented' Guitarist They called him Frankie Fender. Frank Lando, that is: The 65-year-old Toms River motorcyclist, guitarist, and father killed in an April 9 crash in Southampton with a New Jersey state trooper. On Friday, April 19, New Jersey Attorney General Matthew J. Platkin released Lando's identity, as well as that of the trooper involved: Anthony Fernandes. Police ID Motorcyclist, 23, Killed In I-395 Arlington Crash Police have identified the motorcyclist killed in a crash on I-395 in Arlington Thursday, April 18. Joshua A Craig, Jr., 23, of Dumfries, was heading north on I-395 at a high rate of speed when he lost control and struck a 2012 Acura TL around 4:50 p.m. near milepost 7, Virginia State Police said. Craig's Honda CBR600RR went off the road to the right and struck a guard rail. Craig, who was wearing a helmet, was ejected and pronounced dead at the scene. The crash remains under investigation.

Smirking Ex-Con Arrested In Armed Robbery Of Money Transfer Company In Prince William: Police Man who robbed a Woodbridge business at gunpoint is in custody. Dwayne Selman-Nevelle, 37, of Dumfries, walked into RIA Money Transfers on Richmond Highway around 11:50 a.m. March 27, pulled out a handgun, and demanded money from employees, Prince William County police said.
