PORT CHESTER, N.Y. -- The Village of Port Chester will begin a series of seminars to inform residents on how to qualify as a candidate for the upcoming 2016 Village election.
The seminars will begin on Tuesday, Dec. 29, at 6:00 p.m. at the Port Chester Senior Community Center, 222 Grace Church St.
The presentation will describe the election process, early voting and cumulative voting. The session will also provide information on how to qualify to run for a Board of Trustee seat.
The elections for the six trustee slots will be held on March 15, 2016.
