Two Port Chester Teens Charged After Late-Night Street Fight

PORT CHESTER, N.Y. -- Two Port Chester men were arrested early Sunday after a fight on Rectory Street, police said.

Police responded to a report of a fight at about 1 a.m. When officers arrived, they found eight men in the street fighting and arguing, police said. They told the group to disperse, and all the men left except for one, according to Lt. James Ladeairous.

Officers told the man several times that if he did not cooperate, he would be arrested, police said. As they were talking to him, one of the other men involved in the disturbance returned to help his friend and began to fight with the officers, Ladeairous said.

The two men, both 19 years old, were arrested and charged with disorderly conduct and resisting arrest, police said.
