Port Chester Teen Charged In Attack On Stamford School Employee, 64

STAMFORD, Conn. -- Four Stamford Academy students were arrested and charged in connection with an unprovoked attack on a 64-year-old school employee that took place in a Prospect Street convenience store Feb. 11, according to NBC Connecticut.

A 15-year-old boy from Bridgeport was arrested in connection with the assault Feb. 13, police said. Another 15-year-old boy from Stamford and a 16-year-old Port Chester, N.Y., boy were arrested Tuesday, according to the article.

Each teen was charged with first-degree assault on an elderly person, conspiracy and breach of peace.

A fourth teen was charged with coercion. More arrests could be made, according to the article.

According to the Stamford Advocate, the victim suffered several broken bones, needed surgery and spent a week in the hospital after the attack, which occurred on his lunch hour. The teens were coerced by fellow student into attacking the employee, the Advocate reported.
