RYE BROOK, N.Y. - A Rye Brook woman reported that her purse was stolen while she was conducting a garage sale at her home on Saturday. Rye Brook Police Lt. Eugene Matthews said the purse contained $60, three credit cards, and the woman's drivers license.
Lt. Matthews added that the woman said she had placed her purse in the back of the garage, hoping to keep it safe. When she checked back on the purse about an hour and a half later, it was gone, she said.

Bible Bout: A debate at the Rye Town Hilton turned physical Friday night, when Police got a call that two men were fighting in the parking lot of the Westchester Avenue hotel. Lt. Eugene Matthews said that an argument about the Roman Catholic Church ignited the altercation. Neither of the two men was hospitalized, although one did receive "minor facial injuries," according to police.
Harrassment: A Rye Brook woman was reportedly harassed by an unidentified male on Jun. 3. Police said that the woman received a threatening, muddled voicemail stating that he knew where she lived, and that he knew her wedding date.
