Thieves reportedly took elaborate steps to break into a Port Chester jewelry store early on Monday morning.
Triple J Jewelry was broken into at approximately 5 a.m. on Monday, Dec. 11, according to a News12 report . The thieves allegedly made off with hoop earrings and diamond necklaces.
According to the report , the owner was alerted to an alarm that went off in the store, after the thieves broke into an adjacent store and made a hole in the wall so they could climb into the jewelry store. The store was closed on Monday and officials could not be reached for comment.
