PORT CHESTER, N.Y. -- Firefighters are battling a two-alarm blaze at a residence in Port Chester on Wednesday afternoon.

The fire was reported at 40 Cottage Street in Port Chester just before 2 p.m.

The fire was reported at 40 Cottage Street just before 2 p.m. and quickly spread through the attic before being knocked down around 3 p.m. after six engines were employed at the scene.

There has been no immediate report of any possible injuries.
