Investigators from the Greenwich Police Department were dispatched to the intersection of Sheep Hill Road and Old Orchard Road, where there was a report of the crash in the area.

Police said that upon arrival at the crash scene, they “detected the strong, distinct order associated with consumption of alcoholic beverages” coming from one of the drivers, 21-year-old Armonk resident Kevin Maman.

Maman went on to fail multiple Standardized Field Sobriety Tests and was arrested at the scene and charged with illegal operation of a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol. Following arraignment, he was released on $500 bond and is due in Stamford Justice Court on Aug. 27 to answer the DWI charge.
