PORT CHESTER, N.Y. - Emilie Gazzillo, 78, of Port Chester, formerly of Mount Vernon, died Saturday, April 25.
She was born Sept. 17, 1936, in New York City, to the late Alexander and Margaret Whelan DiVernieri.
Gazzillo was an employee of CVS in Rye Brook, and formerly worked for Genovese in Mount Vernon.
Survivors include three daughters, Michele (Tony) Lazzaro, Patricia Ardisi, and Teresa Glossy; three sisters, Genevieve Luongo, Grace Moretti, and Margaret Tetro; two brothers, Alexander and John DiVernieri; seven grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Her husband, Vincent Gazzillo, is deceased.
Calling hours will be from 5-9 p.m. Thursday at the Craft Memorial Home , 40 Leicester St., Port Chester.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Friday at Corpus Christi Church, 136 S. Regent St., Port Chester.
Interment will be in the Gate of Heaven Cemetery, 10 W. Stevens Ave., Hawthorne.
