PORT CHESTER, N.Y. -- Plenty of aspiring singers cover a popular song and post it to YouTube, but when Port Chester’s Anthony Valbiro covers a song, he sings it in the style of 20 different artists.

As a student at Corpus Christi Catholic school in Port Chester and then Stepinac High School in White Plains, Valbiro performed in several plays. He started playing base guitar at age 11 and developed his voice after high school.

“We all wanted to be rock stars when we were kids, and I just stuck with it,” he told Daily Voice.

After school, he started 10 Second Songs, a custom song business where he sells short jingles or songs in any style.

“That’s how it started. But it wasn’t until I came up with a cool idea to promote it on YouTube and it went viral. The rest is history," he said.

In addition to creating more Ten Second Songs, Valbiro is working on a new EP and music video with his band, Set the Charge .

Valbiro welcomes suggestions for different styles to use in his videos and used some in his last cover.

"There were a couple of artists that were suggested that I didn’t even really think to include, and because they were suggested, I used them," he said. "Kataklysm, the death metal band, is one."
