Port Chester Flea Market Can Stay Open

PORT CHESTER, N.Y. -- Vendors at the Empire State Flea Market reached a tentative agreement with the landlord that will allow the weekend market to stay open on Wednesday, Oct.9, according to LoHud.com

Details of the deal have not yet been finalized, but the basic agreement will allow the flea market to remain open until Dec. 31. The market will continue to operate on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays into December as well as every day during the week before Christmas, according to LoHud.com. 

After Dec. 25, vendors will have until Dec. 31 to remove their merchandise before the flea market closes up after 37 years in business, LoHud reported.
