PORT CHESTER, N.Y. - Parking will be restricted in Port Chester temporarily as construction crews continue working on the village’s aging sewer system.
Beginning on Monday, Aug. 14 work will begin on Olivia Street each day from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. starting from South Regent Street, progressing down to Prospect Street as DPW crews perform sewer work.
Officials said that the entire street will experience intermittent parking restrictions, with a few blocks being completed each day. There will be signage postage and locals have been cautioned to park on side streets. Officials noted that they are hopeful of completing the sewer work on Olivia Street before school kicks off next month.
