The Round Hill Community House is hosting this event for individuals, families and the whole community. There will be photos with Santa, train rides on the Round Hill Express, children's crafts, Christmas cookie decorating, face painting and balloon animals.

"Be sure to bring your holiday shopping list," organizers noted, "because while the children are having fun, there will be ample opportunities to shop for everyone on your list."

There will be a variety of vendors on hand, with an array of distinctive gifts. They include:

  • Living Greens, with its beautiful holiday plants.
  • Fabulous Food, with its home-baked holiday treats.
  • Something Special, which will offer its handcrafted items, including lacquered boxes, faux-finished furniture and whimsical boards games.
  • The Treasure Trove, with its "collection of treasures and collectibles waiting to be rediscovered."

The Reindeer Café will also be selling food throughout the day.

Admission is $15 for families in advance or $20 at the door. It's $5 for individuals, either in advance or at the door. For tickets and more information, visit the website or call 203-869-1091.

Christmas on Round Hill will run from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Saturday at Round Hill Community House, 395 Round Hill Road.

There is also an adult version, the night before, with the Christmas on Round Hill Preview Party. On Friday, in addition to the shopping opportunities, the event will feature drinks and hors d'oeuvres, cocktails from 6-8 p.m., and a DJ and dancing from 8-11.

Advance tickets range from $75-$500, and the minimum at-the-door ticket is $100. Buy them here.

Both events benefit Round Hill Community House and local charities. For the preview party, the portion of the ticket over $50 is a tax-deductible donation.
