YWCA Discusses Race In The Workplace In White Plains

WHITE PLAINS, N.Y. -- The YWCA White Plains and Central Westchester will present a panel discussion themed: “Unconscious Bias: A Conversation about Race in the Workplace” at the annual YWCA Stand Against Racism at its headquarters in Purchase. The event is from 8 to 10 a.m. on Thursday, April 28.

Registration is $30 and available at this link or by visiting this link, seating is limited. The conversation will feature Earl “Butch” Graves, Jr., President and CEO of Black Enterprise; Donna Johnson, Chief Diversity Officer at MasterCard; and Dr. Mona Lau, Adjunct Professor at Manhattanville College. 

The discussion will focus on solutions, model programs and promising initiatives that will result in ongoing action from which everyone can benefit. Stand Against Racism is part of the YWCA’s national strategy to fulfill its mission of eliminating racism.
