Things Will Go Bump In the Night At Port Chester's Halloween Celebration

PORT CHESTER, N.Y. -- Ghosts, goblins and other ghoulish creatures are invited for a haunting good time in Port Chester on Wednesday parks and recreation officials say.

Ghoulies and ghosties and long-leggedy beasties will parade in Port Chester on Wednesday at the city's Halloween in the Park event.

Halloween in the Park will kick off at 6 p.m. at the city’s Lyon Park on Parkway Drive with a costume parade.

The parade will be led by the Port Chester Middle School band. Line-up starts at the Girl Scouts House.

There will be goodies, a haunted maze and a costume contest where prizes will be awarded for the scariest, funniest, cutest, and most original get-ups.

The event is being co-sponsored by TD Bank.

The rain date is Thursday, Oct. 29.
