RYE BROOK, N.Y. -- Rye Brook will celebrate its 31st birthday Saturday with a party at Crawford Park.
Rye Brook Recreation will host the party, which will include free drinks, games, rides, a band and a DJ. There will be a water park theme, with a water slide, water wars, a rock wall, an air bounce and an obstacle course. Food will be available for $3. If you're looking for a birthday gift to bring, there will be a collection of canned food for local community soup kitchens.
Parking will likely be limited due to the expected rain. Once parking fills up at Crawford Park, cars will be directed to either Pine Ridge Park or Ridge Street School, where shuttles will pick up and drop off passengers every half hour throughout the event.
The part will be held from noon to 4 p.m. at Crawford Park, 122 N Ridge St.
