Port Chester Will See Much Warmer Weather Next Week

After last weekend’s mega-storm and frigid temperatures, it might be comforting to know that forecasters are predicting milder weather for next week.

Rain is likely next week, but as temperatures are expected to reach the 40's and 50's, at least there won't be any snow to shovel.

Saturday night will be mostly cloudy with a low around 28, and southwest winds of between 3 and 7 mph.

The sun peeks out again on Sunday and temperatures will approach 46 to 48 degrees. Southwest winds of 3 to 6 mph are expected. Temperatures will dip to 35 Sunday night.

Monday will also be partly sunny, with a high of 48. Monday night temperatures will drop to around 35.

Tuesday daytime temperatures will be between 45 and 47 degrees. But after midnight Tuesday, forecasters are predicting a 50 percent chance of rain showers, not snow, as temperatures drop to around 40.

Prepare to get wet on Wednesday, thought, as showers are predicted. But you won’t have to get out your snow shovels as highs are expected to be in the mid 50s, forecaster say.

Rain continues Wednesday night and temperatures will drop to between 32 and 34.
