Walker comes to Pace after serving two seasons as the head coach and quarterbacks coach for Bridgton Academy in Maine.
Prior to that, he worked as the offensive coordinator and offensive line coach for Kenyon College in Ohio. In addition, Walker served on both sides of the ball with linebackers and tight ends as well as special teams, including coaching kickers and coordinating the punt return unit for Lafayette College.
Walker received a Bachelor's in Cultural Anthropology and Sociology from Lafayette College in 2006. Following his graduation from Lafayette, Walker first played professionally in NFL Italy as a player/coach and went on to play in the European Federation of American Football in Sweden.
In other Pace athletics news, women's basketball alumni, family and friends reconnected at the Pleasantville campus for women's basketball alumni day to support the women's and men's teams on Saturday, Feb. 8.
Following the women's game, alumni, family and friends gathered in the VIP Room for a reception and watched the men's basketball team defeat visiting American International by a score of 69-65.
For the special day, alumni and current student-athletes were also a part of the annual "Play4Kay" fundraiser, a national initiative by the Women's Basketball Coaches Association (WBCA) across all divisions of NCAA women's college basketball to create awareness and raise money for breast cancer research.
Pace alumni are invited to attend the Pace athletics hall of fame and awards dinner on Friday, March 28 at the Willow Ridge Country Club in Harrison.
