The Garnets grabbed the lead early on a Mat Bruno scramble for a TD in this battle of unbeatens, but it was Brewster's defense (four sacks and one interception) that forced a pair of safeties, and the Bears later added a Jack Guida touchdown to seal an 11-7 win.

Brewster improved to 5-0 on the season, while Rye fell to 4-1.
