PORT CHESTER, N.Y. -- The Port Chester boys varsity track and field team won its second consecutive League Championship title against Westlake High School earlier this month.

The team was led by the 4x400 meter relay team of Josh Bonilla, Jonathan Henry, Zuriel Arellano and Lukas Patrizio. Justin Karas finished first in the high jump, Joe Verrastro finished first in shot put and discus and Patrick Repaci finished first in pole vault.

The team continued its winning streak on May 11 when it captured the Class A Team Championship at the Rasbeck Relays at Irvington High School.

Layla Santos won the girls League Championship in discus and Jazmin Acosta won the girls long jump championship at the May 6 League Championship.  Acosta also medaled in the long jump on May 10 at the Loucks Games at White Plains High School. Acosta is one of only three Port Chester High School athletes to medal at this event.
