PLEASANTVILLE, N.Y. -- The Northeast-10 Conference has selected Pace University women’s swimming graduate Kaitlyn Lynch and men swimming seniors Dogus Akay and Derek Slayton to be a part of its winter all-academic team.
Lynch appears on the NE-10 all-academic team for the third time in her collegiate career, and began in 2012 and 2013. She concluded one of the top female swimming season performances in 2013-14 as she was selected as NE-10 Female Swimmer of the Year, which marks the first major swimming and diving award in program history.
In the classroom, she posted a 3.68 undergrad GPA in applied psychology and human relations and currently has a 3.3 in the graduate program of public safety and homeland security.
