Library Hosts Sports Journalism Talk In Port Chester

PORT CHESTER, N.Y. -- The Port Chester-Rye Brook Library will host a sports journalism symposium on Thursday, June 26, at 6:30 p.m.

The forum, titled "The Art and Science of Sports Journalism: Covering the New York Yankees," will be moderated by Daniel Barbarisi, Yankees beat reporter for The Wall Street Journal.

Other panel guests include: Bryan Hoch, Yankees beat reporter for MLB.com;  Chad Jennings, Yankees beat reporter for The Journal News/LoHud.com; Meredith Marakovits, Yankees clubhouse reporter for the YES Network;  Wally Matthews, Yankees beat reporter for ESPN; and Sweeny Murti, Yankees beat reporter for Sportsradio WFAN.

A question-and-answer session with refreshments will be held following the panel discussion.
