The event, presented by the Vincent Barbarisi Memorial Fund, is scheduled for 2 p.m. on April 23, organizers said.

“Dueling with Kings,” tells the story of Barbarisi’s attempt to enter the world of daily fantasy sports and highlights his experiences with big-time betters and winners he calls, “sharks.”

According the writer, the book specifically deals with his experiences with daily fantasy sports companies Fan Duel and Draft Kings, which have been historically been two of the most successful in the industry.

Barbarisi is a longtime sports and news journalist who has written for The Boston Globe and The Providence Journal. He has made hundreds of appearances on radio and television and, most recently, served as the Yankees beat writer for The Wall Street Journal.
