Port Chester Musicians Land All-County Honors

PORT CHESTER, N.Y. -- Four students from the King Street Elementary School and Port Chester Middle School participated in the annual Westchester County School Music Association's All-County Band and Orchestra Festivals, according to a statement from the Port Chester school district.

The festivals, held for elementary and intermediate students, featured fifth-grade student Benjamin Reyes on violin, sixth-graders John Ceruzzi and Bennett Segal on tenor saxophone and trombone, respectively, and eighth-grader Lindsey Co on xylophone.

Local music teachers Michael Miceli and Linda McDermott also participated in the two-day event held in early March.
