PORT CHESTER, N.Y. - Port Chester Middle School eighth-graders and families can get a head start Friday on the college search process.
The school has its third annual college fair from 9-11 a.m. in the Port Chester Middle School gym.
Principal Patrick Swift said the event is meant to help students and families familiarize themselves with college.
“It is never too early and is extremely important to start thinking, planning and preparing for the future,” he said in a statement.
“The college fair exposes our eighth grade students and their parents to what a college education offers and affords them a better understanding of what colleges look for in applicants," he said.
Parents are welcome to attend.
