Salutatorian Jenny Maldonado told her classmates to strive for more than life itself, referencing todays social term of "YOLO," or You Only Live Once.
It is the reason we are in denial of growing up, said Maldonado. Let us live up to everybody else, accept responsibility and respect, for we do only live once, she said.
Valedictorian Aimee Naranjo told her classmates to do the best in everything they do in life, and also referred to YOLO.
Remember that life is not only a decision. We only get to do it once. But make sure you do it right because you only get to do it once, said Naranjo. Take every opportunity that opens up because youll never really know where it may lead, she said.
