PORT CHESTER, N.Y. -- The Port Chester Middle School Show Choir, Select Band and Jazz Band recently participated in Music in the Parks at Hershey Park, Pa.
Lindsey Co, Port Chester Middle School Band President Isabel Sanchez, PCMS Chorus President Isabella Ramos, Chorus Vice President Kyle Baxter, Band Vice President Eli Taylor-Lemire and Isabella Rios, with trophies won in the competition.
Photo Credit: Marc ArnelUnder the direction of Mark Zizolfo (Show Choir) and Ken Kraut (Select Band and Jazz Band), all three groups were awarded "superior" ratings and first place in the AA division.
In addition, Lindsey Co was awarded the Middle School Overall Student Accompanist Award; and Isabella Rios was awarded the Middle School Overall Vocal Soloist Award.
