RYE BRROK, N.Y. - Third-, fourth- and fifth-grade students at the Bruno M. Ponterio Ridge Street School in the Blind Brook School District put their spelling skills to the test last week.

The school held a spelling bee, where students were divided into groups and competed within their grades. There were two winners for each grade.

The winners were: third-graders Lauren Kimand Matias Otero; fourth-graders Dylan Garber and Ava Pallotta; and fifth-graders Abe Baker-Butler and Ethan Berman.

The winners will be recognized at a Board of Education
meeting in June.
