Eversource Reports Power Outages In Danbury

update: FAIRFIELD COUNTY, Conn. — The power outages have been restored in Sherman as of 8 p.m. Sunday, but 128 customers were still without power in Danbury.

Eversource is continuing to work to restore power across Connecticut on Friday afternoon. Tens of thousands were left in the dark after a powerful storm early Thursday.

Eversource was also reporting 11 power outages in Newtown.

original story: DANBURY, Conn. — On a windy Sunday evening, Eversource was reporting a number of power outages in Danbury and Sherman.

As of 6 p.m. Sunday, a total of 128 customers were without electricity in Danbury.

In Sherman, the outages came to a total of 11.

There was no word on when power would be restored.
