Cara Emano, Nicholas Ricci and Brianna Soto are all students of AITE Latin Teacher Anna Koltypin. Until now, only one student from AITE had ever received a perfect score.

The National Latin Exam is a 40-question multiple-choice test offered to Latin students on seven levels. The purpose of the exam is to promote the study of Latin and to encourage individual student achievement.

An additional 35 AITE students, along with more than 154,000 students from all 50 states and 19 countries, participated in the exams.

Each year, the American Classical League (ACL) and the National Junior Classical League (NJCL) sponsors this exam.
