The plan calls for the addition of a new wing west of King Street and extensive renovations to the current building, with a total cost of $125.9 million, the Stratford Star reported.

The state would reimburse nearly $73 million of the cost, with the town paying the rest, said the Stratford Star.

The design could be done by June with construction beginning in December, the Star reported.

The Ordinance Committee will consider the resolution at a Monday meeting, and it could go to the Town Council for approval on March 14, said Stratford Star.
