Banana Tree News assessed several possible sites mentioned near downtown that would attract visitors and not back up to residential housing.

These include:

Wilde Memorial Park
The Glen Rock Duck Pond
Faber Field (two spots: lower Faber and the area behind the Recycling Center)
Sycamore Park
Demarest Park
Veterans Park

Banana Tree News also recorded noise levels at other dog parks (Ridgewood Dog Park, Goffle Brook Dog Park) and compared it to noise at the Glen Rock Pool and of trains coming through town.
