New Rochelle Boat Parade Re-Scheduled For August

NEW ROCHELLE, N.Y. - The New Rochelle lighted boat parade is re-scheduled for Saturday, Aug. 11.

The event, cancelled from July 28 because of weather, is a way for residents to celebrate the city's public parks with a parade of lighted boats along the Sound's shoreline, the city said.

Lighted boats will parade past Hudson Park and Neptune Park beginning at 8:30 p.m.
