Affordable Housing Catches On In Bedford

BEDFORD HILLS, N.Y. -- People looking for affordable housing came out to Bedford to see Antioch Homes, a new development Saturday.

Antioch Homes features 12 apartments in three buildings at the site of the former Antioch Baptist Church.

At the workshop, people complained about the lack of washers and dryers and the lack of a play space for children, according to LoHud.

Rent at Antioch Homes ranges from $790 to $1,110 for a one-bedroom and $945 to $1,336 for a two-bedroom.
