PORT CHESTER, N.Y. -- Alex Payan announced Wednesday his candidacy for Village of Port Chester Trustee.
“It would be an honor for me to become a Trustee for the Village of Port Chester. I am proud to be part of a community that fosters and reflects its diversity through the united and varied mix of individuals, families, businesses, and restaurants. At the root of our village is the Village Board, where we interact, exchange ideas, and keep moving Port Chester forward - yes, this is definitely a board I want to be a part of,” said Payan.
Payan is an alumnus of the Port Chester School District. His academic journey continued at Pace University where he graduated in 1999 with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing Management. Payan furthered his education at Manhattanville College, where he earned both a M.S. in Professional Studies and a M.S. in Educational Studies. With a passion for learning, Payan continues his studies at New York University, Long Island University and Manhattanville College.
Payan serves as an adjunct ESL teacher at both Norwalk Community College and EF International Language Center.
“I am a lifelong resident and will bring my experience, knowledge, and educational background to make Port Chester a stronger community,” he said. “I look forward to being involved with the citizens of Port Chester; learning and listening to their needs and sharing our ideas.”
