PORT CHESTER, N.Y. Two men were injured and sent to Westchester Medical Center in White Plains after their car flipped over in a drunken-driving accident in Port Chester on Friday night, police said.
Mario Rodolfo Ortega Morocho, 27, of Port Chester, was charged with driving while intoxicated and unlicensed operation when his Mitsubishi Eclipse flipped over after sideswiping a car on North Main Street.
The Fire Department pried Morocho from the upside-down car, police said. He and his passenger, who was thrown from the vehicle, were treated for minor injuries.
The other driver, a 59-year-old woman, was attempting to get around another car that was stopped in the southbound lane seeking directions when she was struck, police said. The woman was not seriously injured but was sent to the hospital as a precaution.

Christian Alberto Lopez of Port Chester, was arrested Saturday morning after police responding to an incident outside Lopez's home on Midland Avenue found a female with a bloody face and other injuries claiming Lopez had hit her in the face several times. Police charged Lopez, 30, with misdemeanor third-degree assault and misdemeanor criminal mischief.
The owner of TM Wireless company in Port Chester reported $5,000 in missing cash to police after opening her store on the morning of Friday, June 22. Police called the incident a larceny, not a burglary.
