PORT CHESTER, N.Y. -- A Stamford resident and pastor at a Port Chester church faces charges after allegedly beating his son for not doing well in school, according to a News12 Connecticut report.

The 12-year-old ran away, winding up at a library with signs of abuse, according to the article.

According to the report, a judge has ordered that the pastor not return home pending the allegations.
