Osvaldo Lopez, 33, was charged with third-degree grand larceny and first-degree offering a false instrument for filing after allegedly collecting more than $7,000 of unemployment benefits between July and November 2012. Lopez claimed to be unemployed when he was in fact gainfully employed at the time, police said.
Lopez is scheduled to appear in Port Chester Village Court on Monday, Dec. 1, police said.
