Port Chester Eatery Cited Under Entertainment Law

PORT CHESTER, N.Y. – During a routine police check of Port Chester establishments Saturday night, Kaylee’s Restaurant was cited for violating a village regulation requiring a live-entertainment license, according to Lt. James Ladearious.

Officers from the Port Chester Police Department said they heard loud music coming from the restaurant, located at 11 Pearl Street, and found a four-person band playing within. Upon asking the owner if she had a license to allow the performance, she said she did not.

The business received a ticket for operating an establishment without an entertaining license. A hearing is set for July 27.
