The warrant was part of an ongoing investigation by the Port Chester Police Detective Bureau and Westchester County Police Narcotics Unit. It resulted in the arrest of Frank Maxwell, a Stamford resident.
Police said they found a loaded .45 caliber handgun, later determined to be stolen in Virginia. They also found small quantities of cocaine and marijuana, Police Chief Richard Conway said in a release.
Maxwell was charged with second- and third-degree criminal possession of a weapon, felonies, seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and fifth-degree criminal possession of marijuana, both misdemeanors.
The suspect is being held at the Port Chester jail.
