Police: Suspect In Custody After Pair Suffer Stab Wounds In Port Chester

Police in Port Chester are investigating a Presidents' Day weekend stabbing that left two men hospitalized with non life-threatening injuries.

Officers were dispatched to Parker Street shortly after 12:30 a.m. on Friday morning, where a middle-aged man was found outside a Port Chester apartment building, police said. Further investigation found a second man with a stab wound across the street on a sidewalk.

Police said that a suspect has been taken into custody, though no additional information will be released as they continue investigating.

The incident remains under investigation, though it is believed that one likely stabbed the other before hurting himself, according to a News12 report, which stated that both men were dinking and smoking drugs before the violence.
