Police said that on Saturday, Jan. 7 at approximately 3:09 a.m., Moore caused serious physical injury by intentionally striking a 28-year-old Port Chester man with a 2007 Jeep Cherokee with such force that the victim was driven through the front wall of residence at 533 Willett Ave. and was subsequently pinned between an interior wall of the residence and the vehicle. As a result of these actions, the victim sustained serious physical injury requiring hospitalization.

Moore was scheduled to be arraigned on Monday in Port Chester Village Court

Om Saturday, police officers at the crash site were told that three people had gotten out of the Jeep after the crash and run from the home, according to Port Chester investigators, who then called upon Rye Brook, Rye City and Westchester County police for assistance in the search.

About 30 minutes later, at 3:45 a.m., Port Chester police received a call from staff at Stamford Hospital, who said they were treating a man who claimed to have been stabbed in the area of Putnam and Willett avenues, according to Conway, who said the stabbing took place less than a block from the hit-and-run crash.

At 3:58 a.m., Rye City police reported that a 25-year-old Bridgeport man had called 911 to report that he was the driver of the Jeep and was waiting at Edison Place, Port Chester Police Chief Richard Conway said.

Officers responded to the scene and arrested the man, whose name was not released until Monday.
