Officials Provide Info On Man Struck, Killed By Car At County Center

WHITE PLAINS, N.Y. -- Westchester County officials identified the man who was killed on the Bronx River Parkway in White Plains on Saturday night and provided additional information.

The Westchester Medical Examiner said Benjamin Wolf, 65, of Brooklyn, died when he was hit by a car at the crosswalk outside the Westchester County Center.

Witnesses told police that Wolf dashed across the northbound lanes of the Bronx River Parkway when he was struck by a motorist.

Wolf was not in the crosswalk when he was hit, and the motorist was cooperative and not ticketed.
