Robert “Bruce” Furman now resides at 63 E. Broadway in Port Chester, according to the New York State Division of Criminal Justice Services official sex offender registry.

A Level 3 sex offender is designated a “sexually violent offender” at high risk of repeat offense and a threat to public safety.

Furman, 55, was convicted of first-degree rape in Mount Vernon on May 19, 1982, for the rape of an adult female. He was sentenced to 15-30 years in state prison.

He has lived in Manhattan, New Rochelle and Purchase since his conviction.
