Police executed a search warrant atabout 6 a.m. Thursday at an apartment at 125 Poningo St. in the Village of Port Chester as part of an ongoing investigation.
Entry by the Port Chester Police Emergency Service Unit resulted in the seizure of more than 30 bags of cocaine, and a significant amount of marijuana, police said.
Two residents of the apartment subsequently were arrested on various drug charges. They wee being held at Port Chester police headquarters pending their court arraignment.
Oscar Aguilar, 21, was charged with third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, fourth-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance -- both felonies -- and criminal possession of marijuana, a misdemeanor.
Also charged was his older brother, José Luis Aguilar, 23, with third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and fourth-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, both felonies.
