Police had previously released photos of the suspect but did not describe the getaway car.

The suspect is described as a black man in his 50s, with a medium build and 5 feet, 6 inches tall, police said. He walked with a cane in his right hand and had a large gap between his top front teeth, according to police reports.

He entered the bank at 10:05 a.m. Friday and passed a note, police said. He indicated that he had a weapon but did not display one, police said. Once he had obtained money, he fled on a foot across the street to Stop & Shop, where he got into a vehicle and fled, police said.
