PORT CHESTER, N.Y. -- A car struck a pole and knocked it down on Boston Post Road in Port Chester on Monday night, police said.
The accident occurred at about 10 p.m. Police and EMS were dispatched to the Mobil gas station at Boston Post Road and South Regent Street after a car struck the pole and knocked it down in the roadway, police said. The driver of the car was taken to the hospital, police said.
